Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s fashionable Eastside, Breadsmith has become a tradition for those around Downer Avenue. We opened in 1993 as the first Breadsmith and we continue to be proud members of the community.

This is where it all began…..where the sourdough starter was born…..where the first baguette was rolled out and baked to that perfect golden brown…..and where many of the breads and sweets that have become your favorites, were tested and perfected.

We offer extremely high quality products to everyone in the community. We use only the finest ingredients including rare cinnamons and vanillas to enhance the rich flavors of our hand made creations.
